In the 21st century classroom, it is imperative that students can learn about diversity in the classroom. In my classroom, I would like to give students the opportunity to read diverse books (which can be picked up at the school). I would also like to provide them with culturally relevant lessons. TPT is a great resource that could help me find materials from all cultures to help my students learn at higher levels. Students should feel like their cultures and diversity are valued in the classroom through their materials as well.
