This year is all about finding creative ways to motivate and guide students through a virtual school year. I want to send my students hand written notes of encouragement and praise through the mail. Students love recieving stickers during class, just think how much more fun it will be to recieve them at home. Imagine being 7 years old and going to the mailbox to find an envelope addressed to you. For many of my students this may be the first time they have received their own mail. The gift of a simple card and sticker can make all the difference in helping me to connect to my second graders this school year.
