These calculators help students visualize some of the more theoretical work that they are doing in math class. With the help of the TI-84 calculators, students are able to graph functions and inequalities, write simple programs to calculate relevant quantities, and perform real-world data analysis. Furthermore, these calculators are necessary in order to help students perform well on the AP Calculus AB and BC exams. TI-84's have become standard in high school math classes so it is critical that our students be given the same technological materials to stay on track with their mathematical learning. These calculators will be offered for students to rent for free and will remain at the Academy for Technology and The Classics in order to begin developing a stock of rental calculators.
