Whether it be in-person learning or remote learning my students need to be exposed to the concept of financial literacy and how it impacts their future success in life. In second grade we conduct an entire unit on the importance of savings, income, expenses, and learning how to budget. These TPT gift cards will be used to supplement this unit through activities involving money and creating budgets. The children will also be immersed in project-based learning activities that will include making budgets for their homes and for their own personal needs. These resources will be used both in-home and at school. The importance of having my students understand how financial literacy will impact their life will not be understated.
