In an effort to bob and weave to keep up with the impact of COVID-19, some of my students will be receiving virtual therapy and others will be receiving speech therapy in person. Having a document camera will enable the students who are learning from home access the resources available here at the school and to interact with those resources most effectively. My students with different needs who are in self-contained classrooms will be attending school in person. The air filter on my list will allow those students to remain as safe as possible while the manipulatives, included the language resources, will keep them engaged and will increase their learning. These students can also be more vulnerable during changes in routine so I've tried to take note of their sensory needs by including the water beads for sensory bins and the cuddly snuggle puppy for comfort. I love my job and I love my students and I know the resources on this list will positively contribute to their access to educational materials, their safety, and their success this year!
