For the last 2 years, I've been using an old and stained showerboard as a whiteboard. It's difficult for my students to read what I write and is a giant eyesore in the front of my room. Getting a clean whiteboard at the front of my room will help make my room look more neat and organized. In addition, the new markers will help my students be able to have their own to minimize germs and disinfecting time when they need to write on the board. This year about half of my students will be working from home on computers while the other half will be using computers at school to reduce cross-contamination. Each of my students needs a reliable pair of headphones so we can hear each other clearly and minimize distractions. My science curriculum is inquiry-based and each we build a driving question board with each unit, to ask questions, guide our learning, and make connections. The colored notecards will help distinguish questions and ideas from different classes and create a visually appealing map for our learning adventure.
