These stools will provide extra seating for students at my lab stations. This extra seating will help to socially distance the students during the time of COVID-19. Students' safety and well-being are my highest priority. These stools will help them to maintain a safe distance from their peers while trying to learn in these difficult times. Even after socially distancing becomes less of a concern, these stools will be at the lab stations for students while they work collaboratively on labs and other hands-on activities. In the past, I have had students that are on crutches who have struggled to stand and participate in activities at the lab stations. Stools would provide students such as these with support in order to learn with their peers. Overall, these stools will help to create a safe atmosphere for my students so they can focus on learning.
