These materials and supplies will help my students de-stress which will then let them focus on dealing with the problem or situation in a more productive manner. Although these items seem simple, they will enable students to find a simple activity (such as squeezing a stress ball or jotting down a sentence or two in a journal), that will help lower anxiety and/or stress and keep them in the classroom without interrupting others. Ultimately, I would like for my students who experience extreme stress/anxiety to learn to manage these emotions without material items
