In this day and time, and more than any other, creating a welcoming, warm and friendly environment is essential to our classrooms. Flexible seating makes total sense. When we sit at home to focus and work, we find the space that we love best. Offering several options to my students allows them to choose the seating that works best for their learning needs. The balance balls can be combined with the regular desks so they can safely use their Chromebooks and still be allowed to wiggle. The bean bag chairs let them focus on their reading and writing in a comfortable setting that mimics home as closely as we can. Another great benefit to these items is that they are quickly and easily sanitized with Clorox wipes and disinfectant spray for the next group of students who will use the items. This year is a real challenge for everyone to keep the feeling of care and safety in the classroom as we strive to teach our children. Every little sign of care and love is important and your support in helping get them is immensely appreciated. Thank you!
