During the school day, students have the opportunity to participate in independent, hands-on reading and math activities. It is very important for students to be able to work independently, without the teacher. From creating math word problems with various materials, to partners using story cards to retell a story together, students need independent, hands-on activities to make sure they understand what is being taught by the teacher. These clear, portable cases will make it easier for my students to work more independently by allowing them to have all of their materials together in one place. I will be able to put pictures on the front of the cases - this is especially beneficial for my English Language Learners, as well as for my students with special needs, so they have equitable access to these materials.
