The raised garden beds will be used for growing vegetables, fruits, and herbs. We have the perfect location at school with full sun and water hookups; we just need raised beds to make it easier to grow plants. The school grounds are compact clay. Gloves are not only to protect the students' hands but to motivate students to not worry about getting their hands in the dirt planting or pulling weeds. The tickle plants I thought would be a great idea for kids to be able to take home and continue growing outside of class.
