The materials I am requesting will be used daily in my classroom. These materials will help students foster a better understanding of mathematical concepts and facilitate more student interaction during whole group and small group instruction. These math manipulatives such as the' magnetic ten frames, base -ten sets, numbers, and counters will be used to model their mathematical thinking to support their understanding of concepts and strategies. My curious students love to use manipulatives to solve problems and share their mathematical thinking. They will be excited to use these interactive manipulatives to share their ideas with their classmates. The magnetic manipulatives will allow their models to be displayed over time. The giant lined page will be used to display models of writing. Students will use the regrouping chart to model adding and subtracting with regrouping. The place value kit and frames will be used to teach, model, and practice place value of numbers. The document camera will enhance instruction delivery. It will facilitate whole group instruction and scaffold and reinforce teaching for my ENL and lower-performing students. These manipulatives will improve my students' engagement and desire to learn in-person and virtually.
