Students enjoy playing outside and with each other. We want our students back in the classroom with us and can't wait until this happens. When they return, we want to provide them fun activities to adjust to being back in the classroom. Having these materials will help provide them with opportunities for social skills and physical movement. Students will have to work together to share the materials, follow the rules of the games we play, and also share the playground materials. One of the items that is requested is for a parachute. In order to use the parachute all members of the class have to work together, building teamwork, and communicate with each other. They will also be encourage to participate in physical play after spending so much time in front of technology. Many of our students tell us that they enjoy being outside, and we want to encourage that as much as possible.
