Every student needs an opportunity to engage online with the curriculum, and I was thrilled to learn that Nearpod was so easy to use, both for teachers and students; however, on my first Nearpod experience, only half of my class was able to get into the Zoom Classroom and participate in the activities with my current subscription. I am desperately in need a Nearpod Premium subscription so that every one of my 70+ 7th graders will be able to participate in a rich Language Arts curriculum through games, collaboration boards, short answers, and multiple resources. I am also requesting the Ethnic Studies bundle to provide background knowledge for our readings, and to bring a social justice focus to the forefront of the curriculum.
