In our career and technical program, my goal is to keep my students SAFE while allowing them to use their academic and hard skills to help prepare them for the workforce. My students volunteer at the nursing homes, veteran home, assisted living home, and senior citizens day program by assisting them with hands-on projects to help make their days brighter. COVID 19 has bought about many changes. As teachers, we are committed to keeping our students safe as they continue to prepare themselves and serve our community. Our students have been informed not to bring any supplies to school. The students can not touch or share their classroom supplies. I will be providing each student with pencils, pens, notebooks, and other needed supplies to assist with class projects. Therefore, I am requesting a classroom storage unit so I can keep their supplies separate. I am striving to make my classroom as safe as possible.
