In just a few weeks, I will begin teaching French remotely starting at 7am with sleepy students who have had a long summer break. Not only are they out of practice, but I have just been given the task of producing 35 hours of continuous live online instruction - it's like writing, producing, filming, editing, and graphically stylizing my own TV show - but without any support staff or tech crew. I'm energetic and super-positive, but I need tech to help me ENGAGE students with bright cheery video feed that makes their eyes perk up and crystal clear sound that enables them to accurately hear and imitate French sounds. I believe these basic tools of microphone kit, ring light and tablet stand setup will make ALL the difference in what my students experience as we learn together remotely. In fact, I believe these tools and this tough season will change the way I teach forever - for the BETTER!
