Through the purchase of yoga mats, I will be able to lead FREE family yoga classes focusing on self-love, self-acceptance, conflict resolution and mindfulness. My goal is to equip our young scholars with the tools necessary to reduce the level of stress they endure from trauma relating to lack of food, shelter, and safety. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for 10-24 year olds and I believe this is due to families and communities not having proper access to mental health programs. It is my greatest mission in life to help children learn to love themselves and work through any stress they may be feeling in a constructive and positive outlet. PLEASE help me fund this program so we can better the lives of our children.
