Now that we have officially moved to a remote learning system, an Apple pencil would help me connect to my students. Having an Apple pencil would allow me to write on my iPad as a replacement for not having a whiteboard during our virtual lessons. It will enable me to provide demonstrations and examples to my students as efficiently as possible. In addition, whether in person or via a webcam, I want my students to be able to see me clearly during lessons. Having a standing desk would make it where I can be more visible and accessible to my students.
