These materials will be put towards kits for students to do art remotely. Material resist is an interesting experience for many art students at the younger age bracket to see other ways that art can be created. Students will be drawing, blending and creating with oil pastels in normal and colored paper, and use watercolors/washable markers to be painted over oil pastels to see the "resist" effect. These lessons will be tied to other concepts that they are learning in their core classes such as storytelling, poetry, and cultural studies.
