Our area is currently experiencing high levels of community spread, so we are starting our year with distance learning. I am excited and ready to welcome students into our building as soon as it is safe and this tool will help keep our classroom as clean as possible to reduce transmission of airborne illnesses. It is my hope that this purifier will help my students and myself stay well this school year and for many more to come. The more well we can be, the more my students and I will be able to interact in our science classroom as we build knowledge about the world around us! Our classroom is centered around shared experiences of scientific phenomena, from which we construct our understanding of the natural world. Along the way, students develop important skills in communication and collaboration, while working with their scientific community. It is a joy to see my kids develop into experts!
