As a first year teacher adapting to a hybrid teaching model, these resources will help me create an educationally exciting classroom that students will look forward to coming to every day! Having completing 2 weeks of virtual learning, students have already shown a passion for attending in-person classes to continue building social skills and developing lasting relationships! The hands-on activities will encourage group play so students can begin building friendships. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Students will fall in love with my classroom and have a lasting first impression of the school environment.
