These items will help my students and I build a strong classroom community, unfortunately, over the computer. The books I chose will help explain why masks must be worn and help students feel more relaxed when we eventually meet in person. (Hopefully) The other books are to create a classroom family together and spark questioning and comments to help getting to know each other. The standing desk will make it easier for students at home to see me and the Smartboard as well as bulletin boards. This desk will allow me to work from anywhere in the classroom.
