I already use the social studies aspect of Scholastic News both print and digital. When we became online teachers with no notice I was able to use the digital format of Scholastic News, and we were still able to discuss virtually. Students need eye catching and intriguing materials to encourage them to want to learn more. Scholastic News is the perfect resource for supplemental science and social studies teaching and learning. With my hybrid classroom, I'll be able to teach with the print and digital formats whether I and my students are in person or virtual.
