My students attend a very small k-8 school in a rural community. Our class loves to "do math," read, and write! My first and second grade students love to collaborate and coach one another. We focus on having a growth mindset and being positive problem solvers. My goal is to provide them with the richest learning environment possible to make my classroom a warm and safe place. Small rural schools in low income communities do not always have the budgets to provide the type of environment that is ideal for student learning. With your help, I will provide a wonderful environment for my students.
