This year, I have the opportunity to work with kindergartners who have chosen the virtual learning option at my school. We all recognize that virtual learning brings to mind kids staring at a screen all day. I want to spice up virtual learning by getting hands on materials into the hands of my students! I plan to encourage experiential learning by having the kids roll out Play-Doh letters, write sight words on their white boards, track words in books with fun finger pointers and play math games with dice. I can't wait to inspire my young learners with these fun materials!
