My goal as a science teacher has always been to allow my students to discover the world of science around them. I want them to touch, hear, see and experience first hand. We spend lots of time exploring and experimenting with 3-dimensional objects but I want to show them more. What about the world that can not be seen with the naked eye? As a result of Covid my students will not be able to use individual microscopes, yet this camera will make the learning come to life as I project and share my view of this unseen world. A digital microscope will add excitement and "focus" to the microscope experience. It will enhance their learning both in the classroom and virtually at home. I can't wait to see their amazement as they discover what lives in that small droplet of pond water, view a cheek or onion cell, or watch cellular processes in action!
