Batteries in hearing aids for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students will provide access to language. When they have access to language, they have access to learning what is taught in school. When a student can hear, a student is given the gifts of confidence and self-esteem so they can access learning in the classroom just like all of the other students. Many Deaf and Hard of Hearing students have language deficits. If they can hear the language, they can learn more vocabulary, and comprehension skills are developed. They can join in discussions academically and socially. So help me help my students to hear and grow academically.
