As my students dive into 8th grade mathematical concepts from a distance, having accessibility to graph paper and a space for scratch work is a must. Whiteboards will allow students to do quick math computations without heavy paper waste. Graph paper will allow students to use various math strategies and resources required for 8th grade content, such as graphing linear relationship. The resources I've requested will allow me to meet the needs of my students, and further their understanding of the content. The visual representation of proportional and linear relationships is a fundamental building block for secondary and college-level math. 8th grade math mastery is critical for our students futures, and these resources will contribute to my student's mastery. These resources will increase rigor, understanding, and engagement of grade level content.
