Providing my students with the basic necessities and daily materials needed in the classroom is my top priority as this leads to creative thinking, provokes interest and excitement with learning (so important!), as well as giving them the closest thing to a hands-on learning environment that I so wish I could be doing in the classroom with them every single day. With the challenges that come with virtually teaching, these supplies will also allow me to provide my students with quality lessons, models of the work I want to see them doing at home, as well as setting up my virtual classroom at home! This will greatly impact the learning my students are capable of doing during such a confusing, difficult time. It will give them the same opportunity to be successful and thrive while doing this learning at home, and when we finally are able to return back to the classroom. I want to thank everyone in advance for the amazing support for my young students. We are all in this together.
