Because of the unprecedented circumstances we are in, not all of my students are able to meet for synchronous lessons. If I am fortunate enough to be funded for this iPad, I can provide my students with the resources and lessons they need. I will be able to create lessons and teach synchronously with Google Slides, and provide my students with digital notes they can refer to on their own time. I can use this iPad as a digital whiteboard for my live lessons, and screen record what I am writing for those who are absent. I can also use this iPad as a video camera to record lessons, the opportunities are endless! There is enough to stress about in our current situation, school should not be one of them. And when returning to school I will be able to continue to use it to enhance lessons and allowing students to show work on the iPad for the class to see.
