The supplies that I have requested in this project will be used in my First Grade ELL class. My students will be using these materials, both independently and in small group lessons and activities. My class will be made of children from many ethnic backgrounds. It is my goal to create a classroom library in which my students see themselves in print and picture. This is my 12th year teaching but my first year to teach First Grade. I am excited to have this opportunity to teach both Native speakers as well as ELL.
