This sensory and relaxation space will provide students a place where they can take necessary breaks to self-regulate. Many students with past trauma are often triggered in school and often can act out in class disrupting the learning environment. Having a safe space to relax and eventually feel comfortable enough to talk about what is troubling them will allow them to get back to learning and finish out the day productively. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

About my class
