We are currently operating in-person learning, but must utilize blended learning because our class sizes are too large and there are some students that are placed in corners without being able to see any of the boards for teaching (SMART-board, whiteboards, etc). Each student has their own Chromebook to use during classes. This iPad would be used daily to record lessons for the students to view, take guided notes, etc. The iPad will enhance the learning process and keep all of my students actively connected with their mathematics. Teaching mathematics online is a challenge, but with the purchase of this iPad, I will be able to create video lessons, use screencastify, and Edpuzzle to help the students throughout their Algebra II experience. We may transition to online at any given time and with a routine in place, the students will be able to continue their learning without learning a new routine. Without an electronic tablet to record videos, the students will not be able to take quality notes or learn productively.
