These books will be added to my collection to use in speech-language sessions for students in preschool through 5th grade. So many books feature animals or white children and fail to represent people of color. While reflecting after listening to a professional development course on diversifying your book selection, I was inspired to make a DonorsChoose account to help fund this improvement of my speech-language materials.
