Taking a graduate class about the importance of diverse literature has given me the chance to reflect on my current classroom library. Being a third year teacher I am still trying to develop my classroom library. I am determined to help grow the diversity of the readings I share with my students coming from many different backgrounds! I want all of my students to feel celebrated and included! These books will be a great asset to supporting the social and emotional needs of my students. Thank you in advance for all of your help!
