These items will be used in the classroom to allow all students a chance to learn creatively. Allowing them to choose a different place to sit allows them to take control of their own learning. Having options for flexible seating will give scholars the opportunity to decide where they think they can do their best work. Smaller items (like dry erase markers) will be used to allow students to continue using their dry erase boards and giving them other opportunities without putting stress on families for providing more supplies. The students enjoy using their dry erase boards for math and reading and we go through lots of markers doing so. The LED lights will be used as a visual classroom management system. I love allowing collaboration in my classroom however, students can get off task or a little excited and get loud. The LED lights will be used to visually let the students know to get back on task or to bring voices down lower.
