All I want for my students is for them to attain knowledge and become life long learners. In order for this to happen, I have come up with creative ways for students to learn. Since most of our students belong to low-income communities and lack resources like school supply I would like to provide them with school and classroom materials. Students will be able to use the classroom supplies for class projects and assignments to enhance their learning environment. There are specific activities that I would like to incorporate into our class using the selected materials. For example, I will be teaching Spanish and each student will have a notebook dedicated to our lessons and activity. It would include vocabulary definitions, pictures, and applications. They would also decorate and color these notebooks to their liking and will need color pencils and markers. The whiteboards would be used individually for informal assessments and to practice writing in the targeted language. Also, there are online programs that students will be using to amplify their learning which requires earphones. I know that my students will be delighted and take advantage of these resources that will help them acquire knowledge. This is especially true because they are materials that they might not have at home. This will help me access a challenging and rigorous curriculum that will engage all students in a life long learning process. I would like to thank you in advance.
