As the school year is about to begin, I can't wait to start building relationships with my students and doing my best to improve their education and friendships. However, this year is a bit different. We have many health concerns this year than we have ever had before. Help us start off on the right foot with a cleaner nurse's office and sick rooms to lessen the spread of germs and viruses. Having the air continuously cleaned as we are learning, will give so much peace of mind. It will help my students stay healthy so they can remain at school to continue their learning. Please donate any amount to take our classroom cleanliness to a whole new level! I also like to provide prizes or incentives for students who brave coming to the nurse's office. Sometimes not feeling or having to leave the class to take medication, can cause anxiety and dim the view of medical personal. To combat this, I like to have little prizes in office for positive reinforcement. Tummy, tummy, and more tummy issue is a big one for school nurses. Having over the counter medication on hand, helps not only students, but staff. I am always in need of anti-nausea and basic stomach care items. My project will promote a safe, warm, and compassionate atmosphere where I can use my skills and materials to comfort not only students, but staff as well.
