Now more than ever, students are faced with more anxiety, stress, and unknowns than any other time in their lives so far. Maneuvering middle school, puberty, and interpersonal relationships is difficult as it is - throwing in a global pandemic and social distancing is really throwing a wrench it things. Everything in life is more fun with toys! Learning stress management and emotional regulation with a quiet, safe space and various fidgets to occupy the body and mind is a great place to start for these kids. We all use fidgets (clicking our pen, playing with change in our pocket, etc.); it's just more fun to do with the fidgets listed here!
