This classroom library will make a difference in my students' learning because many of my students have difficult connecting to reading. By providing books with representation and a wide range of themes, my students will be more likely to engage in their learning. Starting the school year virtually will be a challenge, and it is essential that my students have access to quality reading materials at home. Having a small class of five students with significant learning and emotional needs will allow me to deliver materials and teach one-on-one on a regular basis. In order to get the most engagement possible, I need to be prepared. Having a classroom library to utilize with my students will make that engagement a little easier.

About my class
