Each student in my classroom will get a set of headphones with microphone and stylus to use with their district provided device. This will allow them to be engaged and stay focused on their lessons and minimize distractions in the household. Many live with multiple families, and it is hard to find a quiet work space for their studies. The microphones are vital because I want the students to be able to talk to one another even though they are apart. I want to promote collaboration and socialization in our virtual classroom. The microphones allow for clear voice recordings that I can use to assess student learning. The stylus will provide them the real world print opportunities as they complete school work digitally.
