This will give an opportunity for students to see how many books are out there about them. A constant representation of who they are in their face all the time will inspire them to begin reading for a lifetime. This book display will showcase people who have overcome adversities and/or made positive changes in society. I hope to build a love of reading and even possibly writing of books that inspires other people of color to see their value in the world. A strong reader of positive influences makes for a strong leader.

About my class
