The books and Math tools will help in supporting all types of learners. Whether my students are reading or working as a class, or quietly on their own, these books and tools will continue to help me reach more learners. It is my core belief that everyone can learn. It is how and where we meet each learner that determines the outcome. It is likely that we as human beings learn to believe in others before we begin to believe in ourselves. This is why I believe it is critical to provide a variety of books full of many different experiences. It is also important when learning tools can remain simple and easy to use so they appeal to children of all walks of life and all learning levels. Stories bring out the stories children carry inside. Reading helps children to imagine, dream, and become. It is my hope that this collection of books and a few simple learning tools, will help continue to bridge the gap between each kid in my classroom and the world around them.
