Our classroom only has a sink with liquid soap, and a paper towel dispenser. In order for students to not spread germs, they need an automatic soap dispenser. It is VERY important for students to wash their hands properly! An Infrared Thermometer would definitely be beneficial. When students come to the classroom each morning, I could check their temperature before they are around other students. If checking the student's temperature during the day was necessary , and students tested negative they could stay engaged in learning instead of loosing learning time going to the nurse. The Covid -19 Virus is spread by droplets and an air purifier could possibly be beneficial in keeping the air purified. Hopefully this could prevent someone from getting the virus. Throughout the year I provide healthy snacks for my students. I only provide the snacks occasionally, or for special occasions. If healthy snacks were donated, students could have snacks more often to energize and motive them. Providing students with a safe and secure environment in the classroom motivates students to learn and excel academically. This is a very unique year and safety takes top priority for students and teachers. If these supplies are provided, myself and my students will greatly appreciate the concern for safety in our classroom.
