My first graders will have a year unlike any other. Interactive and Shared Readings are an important part of my Balanced Literacy Classroom and a document camera will allow students to be engaged in the book and still see the words and illustrations even though they are not able to come together and sit on the reading rug as they have in the past. Whether I am teaching face-to-face or in a remote setting, a document camera will help me to improve my lessons and allow my students to share their work.
