Currently, our school is 100% virtual - being able to create attractive lessons, assignments and student/parent announcements are key. Apple products provide thousands of apps that are teacher friendly - creating trailers for students, combining work assignments and using platforms that make creating work easier. Although I have a school assigned computer at the moment (the only one in my house), having two computers to teach students is also important. One computer allows me to teacher and the other allows me to see my students and interact with them while I am sharing my screen and teaching. An apple computer would allow me to take my virtual lessons to another level - creating an online community where kids are excited to participate, eager to take risks and excited to complete assignments - which essentially is what we are seeking. I look forward to creating these moments for my first grade students!
