Flexible seating will help my very active 1st graders stay engaged in learning. They need the freedom to move around while they learn. The old way of sit and get as we work is a thing of the past. My students come from various backgrounds and need differentiated instruction. It is only right to allow them the ability to have seating choices as well. A Chromebook will help all of us in the area of technology. My class is not equipped with up-to-date computers. Therefore, a Chromebook will allow us to have the latest technology possible for us to keep up with our ever growing world. A long term goal as a teacher is for each child to have his or her own learning device. I would love to one day have a class set. As for now, one Chromebook will allow me the opportunity to share with my students in a way that is difficult now since we lack in the area of technology.
