I am a Spanish and Math teacher at the high school level. The challenges of teaching two classes that are different come with many challenges. As a new teacher, I am trying to set-up a new classroom with very limited resources where students can comfortably learn a language (Spanish!). In Spanish, we acquire language in an organic way, so seating that feels more "home-y" or comfortable will allow the students the freedom to think ad learn a new language. Additionally, I teach math. I find it beneficial for students to be able to have many different options aside from their normal confining chair.
