These much-needed materials will provide my students with the tools they need for a school year that is fluid and unpredictable. My students face the challenges of interrupted schedules where the transition from in-person learning can quickly change to distant learning. Many of my students do not have the resources readily available to make a smooth transition and require even the basic supplies such as pencils, crayons, and paper to work from home. As a result, I need to be prepared with materials to issue promptly including small bags of these items as well as resources to address academic goals. In the classroom, I need to be prepared for the safe return of my students by providing masks if they need a change during therapy session, desks to keep a safe distance from their peers, and sneeze guards to help prevent the spread of germs.
