My students are very hands on and being able to keep their attention and being them the love of discovery have led me to have a desire to use the Lego Mindstorm app in addition to the LEgo EV3 set to being a unique learning experience to build confidence and encourage a love for technology. The lessons that I am planning include using this set up for a hands-on programming and robot building. This experience that will highlight the process for starting projects, modeling, engineering,m and designing their own projects. Also highlighting the coding to see their hard work in action. MY students respond heavily to visual and physical learning and when I can get them excited about something their learning is unprecedented. This will offer a years long opportunity to give my students a chance at learning applicable life long skills in technology and design.
